We want you to feel fully prepared and confident before attending a clinic.
Here are answers to some of the most common questions we get about
clinics, pricing, and what to expect on the day.
Knowledgeable instructors lead our equine first aid programs with vast backgrounds and experiences in the industry. These instructors have undergone specialized training developed by our seasoned veterinarians and equine professionals to deliver the most current and relevant information to our students.
Like a Red Cross first aid class, our program is structured to ensure that our instructors are qualified professionals trained to teach a specific curriculum. They may not be veterinarians, but they possess the expertise to impart the knowledge required for emergencies.
With our instructors' experience and training, coupled with our comprehensive program, you can rest assured that you will learn how to provide the best possible care for your equine companions in any emergency.

Absolutely not!
Our team of Veterinarians and Equine Professionals developed all of our Equi-First Aid USA Clinics, which were designed to help people help their horses in an emergency before they can be seen by their Veterinarian.
The two full-day clinics I teach are recognized by PATH – Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship; EAGALA – Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association; and IAABC – International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants.
As an owner of a horse, it's not a question of whether but rather when you'll face an emergency. Whether it's colic, choke, laminitis, lacerations, poisoning, or pain, by attending one or more of our clinics, we can help ensure that you're fully prepared to handle any critical situation that may arise to help your animal before it can be seen by its veterinarian.
The Equine First Aid Fundamentals 1/2 Day Clinic is $139 per person.
The Equine Health and Emergency First Aid and the Advanced Equine First Aid Clinics are both Full Days and cost $229 per person.

The Clinic Essentials Fee makes sure you have everything you need for a safe and hands-on learning experience. It covers the supplies we use during training, the horses you’ll practice on, refreshments, setup, and on-site amenities. This way, all you have to do is show up ready to learn — everything else is provided for you.
The Course Fee and Clinic Essentials Fee are shown separately to stay consistent with Equi-First Aid USA’s official pricing structure. The Course Fee covers the instruction, manual, vitals card, and certificate of completion, while the Clinic Essentials Fee covers the hands-on supplies, horses, refreshments, and facilities that make the clinic possible. Listing them separately keeps things transparent, so you can see exactly what your investment includes.
